Strangers Acoustic Show
We’d like to thank everyone who came out to the Strangers Acoustic show at the end of April! It was crazy fun, and we’re even thinking of having another show sometime soon. We’re also super excited to be releasing our demo by next month (thanks so much Jim Kuah! We appreciate the hard work!). Below are some pictures taken by our amazing photographer friend, David Kam (http://www.davidkam.me/). Also here’s a video of one of our originals (Dancing in the Flames) that one of our audience members was nice enough to film and send to us.

Simi Valley
On April first, we performed at New Hope Christian Fellowship church for the Anthem School of Music showcase. It was a nice roomy venue, and a fun show! One of the bands before us covered Highway to Hell, which seemed to amuse the crowd since there was a giant cross in the background.
We got to headline and play an extra song by request (Skeletons) and it was super nice talking to the audience members afterward. Take a look at some photos from the event below. If you’re reading this and don’t know who we are, let’s be strangers(:

Rooftop Concert In The San Fernando Valley
Down in the quiet streets of the valley, band members of the punk/indie group “Strangers” are preparing to put on a killer show at the local Reseda Fatburger(Reseda/Saticoy). The catch is that these young adults will be performing on the roof, and not a very big one at that. So how do these kids plan to perform punk rock without falling off and breaking a hip and an instrument or two, well, we’ll find out on November 26th at 6:00 p.m.
Lead singer, Nova Star released a promotional video on November 3rd, earlier this week featuring the singer using speech bubbles to inform fans on the date and location of the event. The video is titled “Rooftop Concert in the Valley”. With Distillers’ song “The Young Crazed Peeling”‘ blasting in the background, we can already get the feel of what this concert is going to be like.
When asked Starr reported that “the turnout should be good, and we hope to have a fun show. Not only will we be celebrating the release of our EP, but it’s Fatburger’s one year anniversary too”. The singer also mentioned a special surprise, but refused to give out a hint as to what it was.
